The IZPP is an international journal for philosophy and psychosomatic medicine.
As an online journal with open access it is a forum for the synopsis of humanities-related and psychosomatic concepts and theories. The contributions it publishes are committed to an inter-disciplinary approach to the 'mind-body problem', locating it at the interface between the humanities and the natural sciences. The journal also sees itself as a forum where academic and practice-oriented authors can exchange views.The main language is German, but it is possible to publish in English or in French with an english abstract.

This journal is no newsletter for instructions, but an interdisciplinary forum for theoretical reflections of applied science and for disussions of established or new therapeutical or philosophical concepts. Scientific findings and therapeutic and philosophic concepts are always changing. Instructions for English-language Manuscripts
General Remarks
The papers published in the IZPP are original papers referring to an inter-disciplinary approach to the “mind-body problem”, locating it at the interface between the humanities and the natural sciences. The journal also sees itself as a forum where academic and practice-oriented authors can exchange views. It is possible to submit original papers, case reports, book reviews, film reviews, interviews, portraits and experimental works.
The editors in chief can not warrant the publication of submitted manuscripts. All papers will be reviewed before deciding on publishing. Original works will be reviewed by the editors in chief and members of the advisory board. Case reports, book reviews, film reviews, interviews, portraits and experimental projects will be reviewed by the editors in chief. Reviewers of the advisory board remain anonymous. The editorial decision is final. The editors decide on informing the author about the reasons for a refusal of a submitted manuscript. It is not possible to demand a statement of the editors or members of the advisory board.
Any source of support for the presented research must be acknowledged in the paper.
Submission Procedure
Please send your manuscript by email in Microsoft Word formatted documents to one of the editors in chief. Please do not send printed versions, letters or disks by postal service. Before submitting experimental (artistical) works please contact one of the editors in chief.
Extent of Paper
Original papers should not exceed 35.000 characters. Case reports can have 20.000 characters. Each submission must include an English abstract. Interviews, book reviews, film reviews and congress reports should not exceed 10.000 characters.
